How do remain so competitive?
When we first launched our company in early 2000 the intention was always to provide value for money but never sacrificing the quality of the cover. So we created policies that:
- Age banded it's premiums so the younger you were the cheaper the cover
- Uniquely offered the choice of 3 & 6 month benefit periods therefore offering lower premiums to those needing less cover
- Tailored our policies to allow for the flexibility of employee company benefits
Then we ensured that our commission rates were as low as we could make them. In order to do that we had to ensure that our costs were kept to a minimum so we made sure we did not:
- Subscribe to supermarket websites (aggregator sites) who charge high commission rates we would have had to pass on to our customers
- Use expensive call centres - all queries are answered by our own experienced staff
- Have expensive administrative costs with glossy brochures and unnecessary literature. We just designed a user friendly and informative website with online application.
By knowing our product and cutting out all the frills and fanfare we have ensured that we remain the most competitively priced payment protection in the market. We are always asked "how can you be so much cheaper than others" and we reply "we are not cheaper it is just that everyone else is more expensive".
