FIUK.com began trading in early 2000 selling Mortgage and Loan Payment Protection via Freeinsuranceuk.com. We pioneered low cost standalone payment protection at a time when borrowers had virtually no alternative other than to purchase expensive policies attached to their mortgages and loans. As consumer knowledge and confidence increased in the purchase of internet standalone payment protection our customers began to ask for a policy to protect various monthly outgoings instead of just the mortgage or loan. Until that time Income Protection Insurance had always been the more expensive option so we began to look for a product that would not only be flexible and affordable but also have the assurance of a strong and robust policy.

On 19th June 2006 we launched AntInsurance.co.uk providing an Income Protection insurance policy with the unique option of 3 or 6 month benefit periods, as well as the industry standard of 12. This offered greater flexibility to consumers coupled with the cheapest premiums available and underwritten by a premier provider of specialized insurance products. By listening to our customers and understanding our market we have again pioneered a policy that will meet their needs.

We are a business that cares about our products and our customers. We do not like call centres so our telephones are manned by experienced company staff who know and understand our company and business. We sell exclusively on the Internet so our running costs are minimal enabling us to pass considerable savings on to our customers.
