We offer:
£2000 monthly benefit. You can protect up to 60% of your net monthly income to a maximum of £2000 per month benefit whichever is the lesser.
Age banded premiums: Allows the flexibility of offering cheaper premiums according to your age.
Back to Day 1 cover: This means that you can make a claim after just 30 or more consecutive days of loss of income due to not working through accident, sickness or unemployment. The claim will then be backdated to the first day of the 30. In addition, at a cheaper premium, we can offer you protection from Day 30 with claims being paid as of the 61st day of consecutive loss of income.
Exclusion period: We have a 90 day exclusion period for unemployment claims only; meaning that your payment protection insurance can start protecting you after 90 days. Most providers now vary between 160-180.
Carer Cover: You can claim for unemployment if you have to cease work to become a full time carer for a member of your immediate family and are in receipt of Carer's Allowance. See Terms and Conditions for full details.
Bereavement cover: If a member of your immediate family dies we will pay you one monthly benefit on the first day that you remain continuously unemployed from work following the waiting period (30 or 60 day depending on your choice of cover). After that we will continue to pay you one monthly benefit for each full month you remain absent from work up to a maximum of 3 months.
